About
Horizon Development OÜ is a professional organization committed to the development of the Northern part of Central Europe into a prominent worldwide pole of economic activities, investments, R&D, tourism and skilled workforce.
Horizon Development is the umbrella organization for the following three sub-organizations:
- Horizon Development Baltics (economic development advisory)
- Massachusetts Training Institute (workforce training)
- Alma-Adventures (tour operator)
Horizon Development Baltics, the economic consultancy wing of Horizon Development, enjoyed about 80% of the total organization’s income, resource and operations for the period 2004-2006. The Massachusetts Training Institute is still in a developing mode, but is expected to be generating the main share of income for Horizon Development by 2008. Last, Alma-Adventures only represents a seasonal activity with marginal income revenues.
Horizon Development OÜ is incorporated in Estonia, one of the economically most advanced countries that recently joined the European Union. It is headquartered in the Old Town of Tallinn, at a strategic geographic, cultural, and economic crossroad between the East and the West.
